Begun at this location in 2017, chickens provide eggs and entertainment. Don't ever stop and add up the cost... you're lucky if you break even. But I've always had chickens, wherever it was possible. I copied this coop design from the old guy down the street. He had one in his backyard. We have since learned that we need more access to perching hens, so this year we'll be designing some additions. Pics and details to come.
